Hostel Project

Government declared the hill-state as tourism center recently made tribal girls from the community vulnerable. To save them from evil of the society in 2003 we started a hostel program with 11 girls where they could have opportunity for basic education and save them from becoming easy prey. Today in 2018, we have 27 girls from different faith, diversified culture and ethnic group. We provide facilities where girls could avail basic education, knowledge & skills, learn to adapt and respect other cultures and how to grow with Moral values. Our hope and prayer is that these girls could be culturally adaptive, mix with main stream to survive, professionally develop, grow with values and impact in their professional lives, and give leadership in transforming families and the community at large. With the following aims we began our journey:

  • *Providing safe & secured lodging facilities to tribal girls from poor tribal families, with low cost food arrangements.
  • *Providing strict study time to complete syllabus from school and prepare them to appear for various exams as per Government Schedule.
  • *Providing Moral Development Education to have spiritual development and to be a good citizen of this country.
  • *Providing vocational training, such as, sewing and computer, if we get land, we will provide farming and basic agriculture training.
  • *Providing them opportunity and get oriented with people from other Cultural and learn music.
